Next Journal of Human Eye (NJHE) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal dedicated to the advancement of ophthalmic and vision science research. Published under the Next Global Health Consulting Inc. (NGHC) Publications portfolio, NJHE provides an international platform for original research, systematic reviews, case reports, clinical trials, and perspective articles addressing the full spectrum of ocular health, from anterior segment and retinal disorders to neuro-ophthalmology, low vision rehabilitation, and public health approaches to avoidable blindness.
The journal is committed to bridging the translational gap between laboratory discovery and clinical practice, with particular emphasis on innovations in diagnostic imaging, surgical technique, pharmacotherapy, and health systems strengthening for eye care delivery in low- and middle-income country contexts. NJHE welcomes multidisciplinary contributions from ophthalmologists, optometrists, vision scientists, epidemiologists, and global health practitioners.
